Well, I'll tell you. I heard about The Darkness for the first time a while back when DC and Top Cow did a Batman/The Darkness crossover. I've been a BIG Batman fan since I was 12 (that's 18 years) and I've been curious about the Darkness ever since. Then I learned that a video game had been made...and that tore it.
I've since bought The Darkness/Pitt First Look, The Darkness #1 Preview, and The Darkness/Lara Croft: Tomb Raider #1 and I've put myself down on a list at my local comic book shop to get the new Darkness series, starting with #1...AND I'm gonna check out The Darkness vs. Eva (which no one seems to have heard of).
Long story short...I'm impressed with the character. More research is required. The new series looks like it's gonna be primo.
...and Maria (Ooooh! A girl likes comic books! *just kidding*) this is really impressive.
